Breast cancer death rates for Black women are 40% higher nationally than for white women. Washington, DC has the highest breast cancer mortality rate in the nation. Justice in healthcare means access to resources to improve outcomes for Black women. Breast Care for Washington has been providing mammograms, follow-up & follow-through care for women regardless of their ability to pay since 2014.
