Sponsorship

Last year The Power of Pink event raised more than $150,000 from sponsorships alone, with another $20,000 from ticket sales and the Silent Auction! Your support as a sponsor of The Power of Pink is critical to the continued success of Breast Care for Washington's mission to reduce breast cancer mortality in the Washington DC Metro area. Register

Make a move to beat breast cancer with us! Participate in the virtual yoga class with Karen Beam Leder or attend the in-person yoga class at Equinox Bethesda, or the pumpkin decorating at the Edgemoor Club and/or the luncheon! Use the Ticket Details menu to make your choice, then click the Register button. The luncheon is included with the yoga classes and the pumpkin decorating. You also can purchase just a luncheon ticket. During checkout there will be some questions to answer about the luncheon -- look for them.

Luncheon and Program

Join us for a luncheon and program after the yoga classes and pumpkin decorating at PLANTA Bethesda! You will hear remarks from Breast Care for Washington Co-Founder and President/CEO Dr. Regina Hampton, among others. Laura Evans, Emmy-winning journalist who spent most of her broadcast career in DC, returns as our emcee.

Silent Auction

The virtual and live Silent Auction returns after a successful debut last year! To view the items and to register for your bidder number, use the "View Auction Items" button at the bottom of the right-hand menu. More items will be added right up until October 1, when bidding starts. Bidding ends at 1:30 pm on October 12, the day of the event. Sports memorabilia, sporting event tickets, jewelry, and gift cards for various places, services, and items were popular items last year. Check it frequently!
